Spring Term 2017

We are in full swing learning about rivers and mountains this term. We have created some lovely displays which we have all contributed to. We have thought about mountains and  riverbanks as habitats for animals and even seem to have had a visit from some riverbank creatures who left us little presents behind! The riverbank animals have also helped us to make up some great rhythms.
We have helped the Gingerbread man cross the river, and made porridge for poor little baby bear from Goldilocks. Did you know that bears don't actually live in cottages in the woods, but quite often they live in mountains?
After half term we will be going on 2 school trips. One to find the source of the River Seaton and one to follow it at the end of its journey to the sea. We can't wait to show you the pictures of that!
