Bishop's visit.
Bishop Christopher visited our school to open our new classroom. We designed some new vestments for him.
Music Composition
Will and Harriet from Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra gave Class 2 a percussion lesson. The piece relates to the rainforest's weather, animals and insects.
Hindu Festival Day.
We learned about six Hindu festivals - Diwali, Rath Yatra - The festival of Chariots, Pongal, Holi, The Festival of Ganesha and Ramnavami. We learned about the festivals through clay work, building chariots, cooking, painting, pattern making and card making.
World Book Day was a fantastic success. Superb costumes were created.

Hindu Gods
We have been learning about Hindu Gods and created beautiful, colourful paintings in watercolours.
Maths Investigations
We did these Measuring Investigations.
Is the length of someone's fingers added together the same as the length of their arm?
Is a person's height the same as the length of their outstreatched arms?
Is it true that the person with the biggest foot will have the longest stride?
Gymnastic lesson
This term Class 2 have been working on a gymnastic unit of work.
Farm and Country Day at Wadebridge Showgrounds.
Milking, honey bees, bumble bees, wormery, feedstuffs, machinery, hens and chicks, pigs, cows, breadmaking, ice cream, auctioneering and planting cabbages and potatoes - just a few of the activities we took part in and sights we saw.
